7 Cool Tech Products for Your Pet

My husband and I love gadgets. And when it comes to pets, there are some really inventive things out there! In a world of drones and robot delivery services for humans, the pet world is also full of wonderful inventions. Here are seven of the most interesting and useful tech products I have found for pets.

You’ve probably seen or heard of pet doors that sense when your pet is near and lets them in/out. But the newest version of the automatic pet door adds some really cool features. Just like other automatic pet doors, it is operated by an ultrasonic collar. But you can now control the door from your smartphone. Whether you want to open the door, close the door, only allow access in or out, or set a schedule, you can do it all from your phone. Plus, if your pet is trying to get in and the door sensor is off, you can choose to be notified in case you change your mind and want to let them in/out!

The price tag of this one might make you pause, but then if you stop and think about the peace of mind (and happiness of nose) you can enjoy with an automatic litter box, the price may start to seem more reasonable. Of course, there are other automatic litter box cleaners out there, so if this one is too much for you, there are options! But the Litter-Robot 3 gets some of the best reviews, has mobile controls you can use on your phone, and can handle up to four cats.

This one is probably the most recognizable tech item for dogs. The original had a limited view, but Furbo’s new 360° camera lets you keep your dog in view no matter where they go! Use your smartphone to move the camera or set it to auto track and follow your dog. You can also load up to 100 treats into it and give your pets a treat while you’re away. You can even speak to and hear them, including notifications if they are barking. This is one of the most interactive ways to stay connected with your pet while you’re out of the house.

Have you ever wondered what your dog sees while he’s digging, swimming, or playing fetch? Now you can find out! This dedicated harness for a GoPro camera lets you put a camera on top of your dog’s back or on his chest. According to the specs, the harness can be adjusted to fit dogs from 20 to 120 pounds.

This is just one of the many options from PETLIBRO and allows you to remotely feed your pet from anywhere. And if you want to add a little extra personal touch, you can record your voice to make your furry friend feel more comfortable and excited when food is disbursed. You can customize times and portions and everything is controlled with a touch screen. And if your pet is one that will get a little too curious with a cord, you can choose to just use battery power and eliminate that risk.

Have you ever come home after a long day and wondered how much exercise you really need to give your dog? Maven can help you know if your dog has been laying around all day or if they’ve been active and might just need a short walk. All this activity data is stored in a system that is also connected with a virtual veterinarian. The vet can help you decide any interventions or solutions you might need to help your pet live healthier. Plus, the collar also has a GPS. With AI, the system monitors your pet’s location and can alert you if they try to escape.

For those days where you just want to sit and relax but your dog has the zoomies, this automatic ball launcher lets your dog play fetch on her own. Although, watching a dog learn to drop the ball in and wait in anticipation for it to fly is also a show for humans in itself! No slobber on your hands and a happy dog? What else could you ask for?

ABOUT KRISTI DIAZ

Dr. Diaz’s nurturing nature led her into medicine where she became a Board Certified Anesthesiologist. While she loved her career and her patients, she also wanted to be a stay-at-home mother. After retiring from her practice and achieving her goal of being a home-based parent, Kristi began looking for ways to give back to her community. At the same time, she and her husband were looking for home-based business opportunities.

Kristi knew she found the perfect opportunity when she discovered pawTree. The value Kristi placed on diet and nutrition for health and wellness, coupled with her family’s love of animals, aligned seamlessly with pawTree’s company values.

Dr. Diaz’s philosophy is that diet, genetics, and luck all work together to create the quality of a pet's life. While owners can’t control their pets’ genetics or luck, they can control their diet. Pets have no choice but to count on their owners their entire lives for great nutrition. Feeding dogs and cats high-quality food and supplements will give them the best chance to live healthy, vibrant lives.
